Saving Howler Monkeys and other Costa Rica Wildlife

Our mission is to educate humans, protect monkeys and their natural habitats, food sources, and corridors, and to restore damaged habitats for future generations of Howler Monos.

Salve Monos Playa Hermosa, GTE, Costa Rica has with the help of Coopeguanacaste the local electric company, installed 21 monkey bridges in and around Playa Hermosa. We also keep track of Monkey deaths from causes such as electrocution, cars, dogs etc. One of our goals is to make sure the monkeys do not have to go to the ground to get to there food sources.
